AMORPHIA

collection

Final Graduate Collection, Kensington and Chelsea College

London, 2014

This collection is based on exploration and observation of the floating forms of jelly fish and their slow captivating movement in deep waters under the sea. In order to mimic their amorphic movement the designer experimented with mixing classic millinery techniques with non-traditional materials, such as PETG plastics, Fosshape, knitted silver yarns etc. On the other hand, this combination was aimed to highlight the possibility of harmonious s co-existence of mankind with the natural world.
